Origami - post 2

Here's a little more on "Origami".

This was a mixed media production. The character of the boy was drawn animation (by Ed Smith), the animals were CGI (Winnie Tom animated with Maya).

Even so, all of the CG scenes were drawn as traditional layouts.

The backgrounds in the first part were paintings (the remaining -during the kid's journey -were digitally constructed from painted sources).

These are the boring ones. I think the good ones were parting prizes for some of the production artists.
