Scoooooooo

Back at The Ink Tank we did three pieces for Comedy Central's short-lived TV Funhouse.

Having heard some horror stories about the SNL version as well as our own experience doing work for a different SNL producer, we were somewhat reluctant going in.

Turns out that Robert Smigel was very easy to work with. The projects were easy despite the warnings from several quarters.

I'm not really crazy about the films, to be honest. But people seem to like them.

This one is a parody of Scooby Doo and the "infantilazation" of cartoon characters.

The animation is mostly by Doug Compton. The best part, in my opinion, are the backgrounds. The first couple were done by Nash Dunnigan who also taught a few other artists his tricks.
